Q; How come the Borg ship doesn't go a lot faster than it does in this episode, bearing in mind that in order to have travelled the distance they have in the time that they have since we last met them, they can clearly go a lot faster?
A; Um, mebbe in the same way that the Enterprise can only go for so long at maximum warp, the Borgsters can only fly at top whack for a limited time.
There is a nice view of the Battle Bridge as seen from the Borg ship in this show, offhand it's the only one of its kind I can remember seeing. Looks good, too.
At the end of the show Shelby cheerfully claims that they'll have the fleet back up and running in less than a year. How does she think they're going to do that? The damage to the Enterprise will take several weeks to fix on its own, and back out in space at location Wolf 359 there is a fleet of starships that to the casual eye are only good for the scrap-heap. If I were the Romulans (or indeed the Cardassians), I'd be attacking now!
